Laroche has committed itself to the carbon assessment initiative in order to measure and above all limit its greenhouse gas emission (GHG). As demonstrated in the graph below, the material* (and therefore a percentage of the bottles) represents 43% of Laroche’s GHG emissions.

By reducing the quantity of glass in our bottles, we are reducing our GHG emission. According to ADEME (environment and energy control agency), the gas emission factor of glass per bottle is of 120 KgECO2/Ton.
This new bottle weighs 235 gr less than the previous one. Multiply by the number of bottles sold, we obtain a 3% reduction of our GHG emissions on our material.
Thanks to this action and many more to come, we strive to minimize the impact of our economic activity on the environment

Energy consumption : a gathering of electricity and fossil energy consumption (gas, fuel, etc…) for daily use of lighting, heating and hot running water.
Materials : includes raw material used for production, packaging of finished products such as glass bottles, paper for labels, and plastic for corks.
Freight : consolidates the data pertaining to the means of transport (road, rail, maritime, inland waterways and air).
Movement of people : employee commuting as well as business travel.
Waste : direct waste of researched activities. This does not include the packaging of final products that becomes wastes once used by your clients.
Immobilization :after several years, this refers to the emissions which are related to the production of tangible fixed assets (buildings, machines, computers, etc…)
