Laroche has committed itself to the carbon assessment initiative in order to measure and above all limit its greenhouse gas emission (GHG). As demonstrated in the graph below, the material* (and therefore a percentage of the bottles) represents 43% of Laroche’s GHG emissions.

Source : Altern Consult for Laroche SA

By reducing the quantity of glass in our bottles, we are reducing our GHG emission. According to ADEME (environment and energy control agency), the gas emission factor of glass per bottle is of 120 KgECO2/Ton.

This new bottle weighs 235 gr less than the previous one. Multiply by the number of bottles sold, we obtain a 3% reduction of our GHG emissions on our material.

Thanks to this action and many more to come, we strive to minimize the impact of our economic activity on the environment
